Why subscribe?

Lets be honest. Revenue streams have dried up for us Creatives. Subscribing to my newsletter helps me carve out an independent niche where through your direct involvement I can fund the time it takes to develop works for the theater and improve at my screenwriting craft. I believe the stories I tell matter to the community I serve.

And I cannot do that without you.

Your subscription allows me to do so much — like pay actors when I read my work and give my experience to the development of other writers at affordable rates. If you subscribe, you get to play an active role in the creation of writing about my days as a would-be Child Star. Who doesn’t want to read me tell the truth about working for the Mouse (Disney)? The newsletter also is the living document that will turn into the kind of book on art based on years of teaching seminars. And you will help make that happen!! All for the price of a cup of fancy coffee a month (5$) at one of those coffee shops where they do pour overs. That’s all it takes to help me continue to sustain this creative life and feed myself. And you’ll get photos from my days as Duck, lessons in enduring and surviving a creative life, and I hope a lot of heartfelt laughter.

Stay up-to-date

Wouldn’t you rather have a letter from me every week with stories and jokes and truth rather than just a bunch of spam? Don’t delete me with that Keto diet once in a life time offer though, or I will never forgive ya!

Be part of a community. No joke. My friend Tony has now started sharing his poems because of this thing. I have reconnected with so many people through the newsletter. We all have stories to tell. I believe it is what makes us human. They are as singular to us as our finger prints are. My hope is that by sharing mine, it may encourage you to share yours. Besides, I just didn’t want to be a hypocrite to my students.

I'll be sharing unauthorized stories from my days as a Duck in between fundamental lessons in storytelling. My most sincerest hope is to interact with you here and end up with a memoir of a would be Child Star and the kind of writing book I like to read.
